Cancellation and refund policy

This policy explains what happens if you cancel a project or care plan with Squiggle Developer. It is part of our terms of service. Your written quote sets out the advance and payment milestones that this policy refers to.

1. Before work starts

If you cancel in writing before we start work, we refund your advance in full. If we have already paid third-party costs for you, such as a domain, a paid theme or a plugin licence, we deduct them and show you the receipts.

2. After work starts

If you cancel after work has started, we keep payment for the milestones already delivered and a fair share of the milestone in progress, based on the work done up to the date you cancel. We refund any amount you paid beyond that. Along with the refund, we hand over the work completed so far.

3. Delivered and approved work

Milestones you have approved, and projects that have launched, are not refundable. If something does not work as described in the quote, we fix it under the warranty in our terms instead.

4. Care plans and monthly services

You can cancel a monthly care plan at any time by email or WhatsApp. It stops at the end of the month already paid for. We do not refund part-months.

5. Third-party fees

Fees paid to other providers, such as domain registration, hosting, WhatsApp Business Platform or Meta charges, Google services and app store fees, follow those providers' own refund rules. We cannot refund them ourselves.

6. If we cancel

If we cannot complete a project for reasons on our side, we refund everything you paid for work not yet delivered.

7. How to ask for a refund

Email hello@squigglebrains.com with your name, business name and quote reference. We confirm we have it within 2 working days. Approved refunds are paid within 7 working days, by the method you paid with (bank transfer or UPI).

8. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a refund, you can raise a grievance at hello@squigglebrains.com. You can also use the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in) and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
