Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Squiggle Developer, a digital studio based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, run by the team behind Squiggle Brains (“we”, “us”) for a website, app, automation, dashboard, report or support plan. By using the site or accepting a quote, you agree to them.

1. This website

The content here is general information about our services. Demos on this site use fictional businesses and are labelled as demos. They are not client results. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors. You may not copy our designs, text or code for commercial use, try to break or overload the site, or send spam through its forms.

2. Quotes and scope

Every project starts with a written quote (by email or WhatsApp) that sets out the work, the price, the payment milestones, the number of revision rounds and the expected timeline. The quote, together with these terms, forms the contract between us under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Work that is not in the quote is charged separately, and we quote it before we start it. A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.

3. Payments

Payment amounts, the advance and the due dates are set out in your quote. Invoices are payable within 7 days by bank transfer or UPI. There is no online checkout on this website. GST is added where it applies and is shown on the quote and invoice. We may pause work if an invoice is overdue, and we will tell you before we do.

4. Your responsibilities

You give us accurate business information, and text, photos, logos and other material that you own or have permission to use. You review and approve work within the time agreed. Delays in content or feedback move the timeline. You are responsible for the claims your business makes on its website and for complying with laws that apply to your business.

5. Third-party services

Projects often rely on services such as domain registrars, hosting, Google Business Profile, the WhatsApp Business Platform, payment gateways and AI providers. Their own terms, fees and approvals apply. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, account suspensions or pricing.

6. Ownership

Once you have paid in full, you own the final website, designs and content we made specifically for you, and the content you supplied. We keep the right to reuse our general know-how, code libraries and tools, and third-party components keep their own licences. Unless you ask us not to, we may mention the project in our portfolio once it is public.

7. Warranty and support

If something we built does not work as described in the quote and you tell us within 30 days of launch, we fix it at no charge. Changes after that, or new features, are covered by a care plan or a new quote.

8. No guarantees on results

We do not guarantee search engine rankings, a number of leads or bookings, revenue, or approval by Google, Meta or any other platform. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Confidentiality and data

We keep your business information confidential and use it only for your project. Personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy.

11. Ending a project

Either of us can end a project by writing to the other. Cancellations and refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through a good-faith discussion. If that fails within 30 days, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Contact and grievances
